The Wyoming legislature has been busy over the past several days trying to pass several key bills to liberalize fintech businesses and put Wyoming on the map as a business friendly jurisdiction for crypto-exchanges, ICOs and other related topics like exempting cryptos from the state property tax. HB 19 bitcoin bill -- passed on 1st reading in the full House, 2nd reading soon, optimistic it will pass 3rd & final reading by this week before moving to the Senate.
HB 70 ICO bill -- passed on 1st reading in the full House, 2nd reading soon, optimistic it will pass 3rd & final reading by this week before moving to the Senate.
HB 101 filings bill -- passed committee unanimously, 1st reading in the full House soon.
HB 126 series LLC bill -- passed committee unanimously, 1st reading in the full House soon.
SF 111 exempting crypto from property taxes -- scheduled for introduction vote in Senate soon, requires 2/3 vote to be introduced.
